Fueled by political anxiety over the new president, our ongoing “fake news” debacles, and this recent cultural shift, I brought in an idea to my studio-mates at Delicious Design League. After countless mornings spent discussing the increasing flexibility of truth, we kept coming back to the same question: How do we bridge this great divide?

A collaborative effort
The final piece was expertly printed by the DDL Printshop from 12 panes of plexiglass, 30-some layers of ink, a custom pine frame, and a whole lot of determination. Endless thanks to Tyler Deal, whose relentless optimism and crystal clear planning made this a total dream.
I wrote a more in-depth peek into the process of this piece on Medium, if you're curious.
We also printed a limited edition run of 18x24" art prints, half the proceeds of which will be donated to the ACLU.
