Soft Text
Soft Text is a gentle, easy-to-read text typeface intended for use in small sizes.
I started developing it while working on instructional materials for my workshops, seeking a companion voice for my more bold lettering work. Studying type can make a lot of learners feel intimidated—myself included—there are so many rules! It was my hope that a personable, softer tone in the writing could make things feel approachable.
V0.1 contains full Latin-Extended language support, small caps, lining and old-style figures, as well as a handful of subtle ligatures to help with flow. My hope is that it will expand into a bold, an italic, and include a few more decorative flourishes with which to adorn your text.
